When requesting a quotation for titanium flanges, sending only “please quote” and a quantity is usually not enough for a supplier to prepare an accurate offer.
The more clearly you specify the dimensions, material grade, applicable standard, sealing face, and service conditions, the fewer clarification rounds are needed and the faster the quotation can move forward.
Please identify the flange type, such as a blind flange, weld neck flange, or another required configuration. Also state the required quantity.
Complete basic size information helps the manufacturer understand the required structure and connection conditions.
Specify the applicable standard, such as a Chinese national standard, ASME/ANSI, Russian, Japanese, or German standard. If you have a drawing, you can indicate the standard directly on the drawing or include it with your inquiry.
State the exact titanium grade, such as TA1, TA2, or TC4. “Titanium material” alone is not specific enough for technical confirmation or pricing.
Please clarify the required sealing face, such as raised face (RF), flat face (FF), male-and-female face (MFM), or tongue-and-groove face (TG).
The contact medium, operating temperature, and pressure are important references for technical evaluation. The clearer these conditions are, the more targeted the manufacturer's recommendations can be.
If you require a material test certificate, inspection report, non-destructive testing, or other quality documents, please state these requirements before production and quotation confirmation.
For a non-standard flange, please attach a technical drawing whenever possible. If a complete drawing is not available, you can first provide a hand sketch, photographs, key dimensions, or information about the connected equipment interface.
Incomplete information is not necessarily a problem. It is more important to distinguish confirmed requirements from items that still need to be checked. This allows the manufacturer to identify open points instead of making assumptions.
Before sending an inquiry, try to include:
A clear inquiry often saves more time than repeated document supplements after the quotation has already started.
At Lihua Titanium, we focus on titanium materials and titanium product projects, including titanium flanges. Clear technical information helps both sides evaluate the project more efficiently and gives the manufacturer a reliable basis for preparing a response.
